The scapecoat is a coat that details in painting, writing and with all manner of things pinned and stiched to it all the name-calling a woman has endured in her life all the insults, slurs, traumas, all the scars...It's a statement of her experience of being scapegoated. I found myself admiring the "ovarios" of the woman who could wear such a coat and still be walking  foursquare, singing, creating and wagging her tail. Sometimes we also call them battlecoat for they are proof at the endurance the failures and the victories of individual women and their kinswomen...

Questo capo cucito, disegnato, appuntato con spilli, ricorda gli insulti, i traumi, le ferite e tutto quello che una donna ha sofferto durante  il corso della sua esistenza...questo abito é l'espressione della loro esperienza subita di capro espiatorio. Ammirazione per quelle donne che avevano le "ovarios" di indossare questo tipo di abito e ancora la forza di continuare a avanzare a carponi, cantare, creare e scondinzolare...

Ce vetement cousu ou epinglé rappelant les insultes, les traumas, les blessures tout ce qu'une femme a souffert au cours de son existence...une façon d'exprimer qu'on a servi de bouc émissaire...Admiration pour les femmes qui avaient les "ovarios" de porter ce genre de vetements et continuer à marcher à quatre pattes, de chanter, de créer et de remuer la queue...Ces boubos de combats sont la preuve des échèques, des victoires et de l'endurance de chacune de ces femmes...
